TOPIK I vs TOPIK II
TOPIK I decides Levels 1–2 (beginner); TOPIK II decides Levels 3–6 (intermediate–advanced). You choose one when you register, and a single exam decides your level.

Which one do you register for?
- Aiming for Level 1–2 (E-7-4 / KIIP link, basic certification) → TOPIK I
- Need Level 3 or higher (university, some professional visas) → TOPIK II
You cannot sit TOPIK I and II in the same session. Your level is assigned automatically from your score (e.g. 135 on TOPIK I = Level 1).
